PB supports stand taken by VS in vigilance case

NEW DELHI: The CPM politburo supported the stand taken by opposition leader V S Achuthanandan in connection with the vigilance case against him. The PB which met during the central committee meet approved VS’ stand of resigning his post if a charge sheet is filed.


The central leadership had not discussed the issue earlier.  The available politburo had stated that they would face the case politically and legally. VS had handed over the documents in connection with the case to the politburo.
