Hartal: PSC postpones exams scheduled for tomorrow

Tuesday, January 17, 2012: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the departmental examinations scheduled for tomorrow to February 2.
The exams have been postponed due to state-wide strike called by Mullaperiyar Samrakshna Samiti tomorrow demanding construction of a new dam at Mullaperiyar.
Kerala has been seeking construction of a new dam in place of the 116-year old reservoir, a demand strongly opposed by Tamil Nadu.
