ALUVA:In a fit of rage, a native of Bengal bit off a cop’s ear while the latter came to nab him for creating scenes in an inebriated stage. The incident happened Saturday night at the Aluva Railway Station. The arrested has been identified as Masood Rana. Rana was taken into custody for being a nuisance to others in a drunken stage.
The Aluva Police Station was informed and when civil police officer Jab came to take him into custody, he bit off his ear. A part of his ear has been injured and he has been admitted at a private hospital in Ernakulam. The police later arrested him.
