NEW DELHI: Dr Abhin Soory, who has sustained severe injuries in Nepal earthquake has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Science. He was flown to New Delhi in a special army aircraft by 5 am on Wednesday. At the airport, he talked to his relatives and friends. He is currently being treated at Trauma Care Unit of the hospital.
According to doctors, Abin has injuries in areas below his abdomen, which has affected his kidney functions.
Abin’s mother, a native of Vadakara and Manathavadi Govt College principal Anitha Kumari, brother Dr Arjun Soory and sister and medical student Ajana Soory and uncle Balakrishnan have reached Delhi.
Dr A S Irshad and Dr Deepak K Thomas who was travelling with Abhin had died in Nepal.
