Workshops, houses in Kannur attacked:Eight vehicles damaged

KANNUR: In the attack unleashed by a six-member team at Anjukandi in Kannur City on past Monday midnight, eight vehicles were damaged.

The houses of Egworth Mohandas, Vendra Devadas, their nephews Shabin and Shamoj were attacked. Fit fine workshop run by Shamoj and located near his house was also attacked. The miscreants smashed everything they could lay their hands on. The incident happened past Monday midnight.

Two cars and one auto parked in front of Mohan Das’ house were totally damaged. The window panes of his house were damaged using iron rods. The houses of Shabin and Shamoj, the nephews of Mohandas and Devas were also attacked. The gang who went in three bikes damaged four cars in Shmaoj’s workshop.  

A few days ago Shamoj had entered into a  brawl with a gang in Kannur town. This is suspected to be the reason for the attack. City police have started investigating the case.
