SABARIMALA: A 32-year-old Ayyappa devotee, who came under a tree that got uprooted because of rain and wind, died Wednesday morning. Another devotee sustained serious injuries. The dead has been identified as Reghuveera Reddy of Telangana. The injured has been identified as Beemayya (42).
The incident happened at 3 am early this morning on the Chandranandan Road when the two among the five-member team were getting down after darshan. Reghuveera Reddydied on the spot itself.
