Jawan died after bullet pierced into skull: Docs

KOZHIKODE: The doctors who conducted post-mortem on CISF jawan S S Yadav, who was killed at Karipur airport on Wednesday night, have said the jawan died after gunshot pierced into his skull. The bullet was recovered from the skull during the autopsy that was conducted today.

The bullet which first hit the jaw bone pierced through it and entered the skull. Before the post-mortem, X-ray was taken and the bullet was spotted inside the skull.

The doctors said that the dent caused to the skull by the bullet had resulted in his death.
Yadav’s body was flown to Delhi from Nedumbassery and from there it will be taken to his homeland.
