THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Education Minister has said that a final decision on transfer of Higher Secondary teachers will be taken after seeking Tribunal’s opinion. He said at a press conference here on Monday that the above decision was taken after teachers’ organisations came up with different opinions.
“The Education department’s decision was that when the order comes the teachers should join vacant posts and others should join after the annual examination. But teachers’ organisations had expressed their differences of opinion, following which the ministry decided to get Tribunal’s opinion,” he said.
