THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar case, was shifted from Pathanamthitta Jail to Attakkulangara Women’s Jail as per the report of the then intelligence ADGP T P Senkumar, said former jail DGP Alexander Jacob. He revealed it before the solar commission on Friday.
Senkumar’s report said Saritha was not safe in Pathanamthitta Jail. She had brought many unnecessary papers with her in the jail, Jacob told the commission. This also resulted in the change of the prison. The jail authorities had seized 21-page-letter from her. According to Prison Act 751, the letter was handed over to her counsel Feny Balakrishnan. It was handed over on the grounds that the note was written by a jail inmate to her advocate. The advocate not producing it in the court was shocking, said Jacob.
