THRISSUR: The vigilance Thursday submitted the preliminary investigating report in the case in connection with the corruption in consumerfed at the Thrissur Vigilance Court. The report has made it clear that so far 22 quick examinations and in three cases FIR has been registered. The vigilance director has informed the court that as additional corruption is suspected more investigation is on.
The court earlier ordered a probe on the complaint of Malayali Vedi state president George Vattukulam naming Cooperative Minister C N Balakrishnan as the eighth opposite party. The court asked vigilance to give a reply before January 20 after examining whether the demand of the complainant to probe the irregularities taken place during 20154-15 has been fulfilled.
