Railway development: League irked by Aryadan’s statement

Sunday, September 4, 2011: The Muslim League has reacted strongly to Minister Aryadan Muhammad’s statement on Saturday flaying the center for not doing anything for railway development in the state.

Though neglect by the centre is true, the development in Kerala when E Ahmed was the Union Minister should not be forgotten by Aryadan, said League general secretary ET Muhammed Basheer.
The statement made by Aryadan against E Ahmed in a seminar had infact irked the League members.
Aryadan at a railway seminar had stated on Saturday that railway development in Kerala had taken place only during the regime of Panampilly Govinda Menon and O Rajagopal when they were railway ministers. The state meet of League will be held in Kozhikode on Sunday.
