Wednesday, October 05, 2011: The police team investigating the case
regarding the brutal assault on a school teacher (Krishnakumar) of RVHSS
school in Valakom, have arrested an astrologer in connection with the
incident.
The astrologer identified as Sreekumar was earlier interrogated by
the investigating team. He would be again grilled by the probe team
today, sources said. Meanwhile the teacher of RVVHS had informed that
he can identify the assailants who had attacked him.
Speaking to the media at Thiruvananthapuram Medical college hospital,
Krishnakumar added that he would disclose the facts to the media soon.
The police team who had earlier recorded the victim’s statement informed
that he was not able to identify the offenders behind the incident.
While talking to the media here, victim opined that the school
management and Kerala Congress (B) leader R Balakrishna Pillai had
personal enmity with him. Meanwhile Balakrishna Pillai will be
interrogated by the special probe team in connection with the incident.
Reliable sources informed that Pillai is most likely to be interrogated by the probe team today.
