Action sought against PC George for unruly remarks


Wednesday, November 02, 2011: The National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Mamta Sharma has sought stringent action against Government Chief Whip PC George for his lewd comments against woman Watch and Ward member Rajani Kumari.
Speaking to the reporters here on Wednesday, Mamta opined that the Chief Whip had used vulgar language derogatory to a women’s dignity while addressing a public meeting held at Pathanapuram.

P C George crossed all limits of decency while describing the scenes that occurred in the Legislative Assembly a few days back where in CPM minister T V Rajesh is alleged to have abused and manhandled the lady Watch and Ward during a sit in protest in the well of the house.
PC George was talking at the same venue where Minister Ganesh Kumar used derogatory, unsavory and defamatory statements against CPM stalwart V.S Achuthananthan.
George verbally abused the women the women miserably. His insulting, dishonouring, malicious statements is tormenting to any women, she added. Rajini has not yet rejoined for duty after the incident.
