Sibal promises CBSE regional centre in Kochi

Union Minister for Human Resources Development (HRD) Kapil Sibal on Tuesday ensured All-Kerala CBSE Schools Management Association that a regional centre for the CBSE would be established in Kochi.

Association secretary Indira Rajan and P C Chacko MP met Kapil Sabal with a charter of demands in New Delhi. The Union Minister has instructed to take steps to establish the regional centre. The CBSE school managements in Kerala were demanding such a centre as they have to go to Chennai for all their works and needs. The Association made such a demand as majority of the schools coming under the Chennai region are in Kerala.

With the centre coming up in Kochi, parents need not have to travel to Chennai for making corrections in their certificates or obtaining certificates for studying abroad.
