Law should not be violated in the name of Emerging Kerala, says MLAs

KOCHI: MLAs supporting green politics said law should not be violated in the name of Emerging Kerala. T N Prathapan, V D Satheesan, V T Balram, Shreyams Kumar and Hibi Eden via blog asked the government not to support the proceedings violating land reformation forest act.

Development should take place by Emerging Kerala, but it should not emerge by damaging environment. A study should be conducted before approving deposits. Land for the project should be transparent and legal. Strict conditions should be included in the lease agreement while granting land.
