State to reorganize Inkel



THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state cabinet meeting decided to reorganize Infrastructures Kerala Ltd (Inkel), which has landed into land sale controversy, for ensuring more control of the former over the functioning of the latter.

For this, the state government is to adopt the method of Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) of getting more shares. As of now, the state government has only 26 % share participation in Inkel.  

The cabinet also asked Chief Secretary to submit a report at the earliest on how the administration and state’s share participation in Inkel should be reorganized in accordance with CIAL model.
