Friday, 02 December 2011: State Government today informed in High Court that Government decided to evacuate 450 families from the dangerous sector in Mullaperiyar Dam.Government also informed that new digital seismograph would install in Mullaperiyar and censors will be installed for prior information of danger. Infrared cameras will be installed on either side of the dam and in quake prone areas.
