Friday, 02 December 2011: The High Court today directed to complete further investigations on the Palmolein Case within 6 weeks. The High Court direction was given while hearing the plea submitted by IAS officer Jiji Thomson.Jiji Thomson, who was the then MD of the Civil Supplies Corporation, is the fifth accused in the case.
Jiji Thomson had approached the HC against the Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court ruling seeking to investigate the role of the then finance minister Oomen Chandy in the Palmolein Case.
