Keralite injured after car rams into striking nurses in Delhi


NEW DELHI: A Keralite identified as Sunil was injured after a car rammed into the nurses striking for an increase in wages, in New Delhi. The incident happened at Sunderlal Jain Hospital in Ashoka Vihar. Sunil was immediately taken to the hospital and given treatment. Meantime, nurses alleged that Manish, a member of the hospital management, is behind the incident.
Nurses of the Sunderlal Jain Hospital started a strike from yesterday onwards. Almost 200 Keralite nurses are working in the hospital. A similar incident took place in the Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi recently.
