Thrissur Metropolitan hospital nurses’ strike continues

Friday, March 30, 2012: The indefinite strike by the nurses’ union at the Thrissur Metropolitan Hospital entered its second day on Friday.
The nurses have launched a strike demanding better wages on Thursday morning.
A rise in the minimum wage, removal of bonded labour and introduction of working in shifts, reappointment of dismissed nurses are some of the demands raised by the striking nurses.
