Fifth cabinet berth: IUML Ministers voice different opinions

Monday, March 26, 2012: Minister MK Muneer said that IUML is not ready to fight with the Congress for the fifth ministerial post.
He said they would’nt pressurize for a ministerial post and it is expected that a common stand, aggreable to the league, would emerge. Muneer said he expects a final decision at the UDF meet on March 28.
Meanwhile, Minister PK Abdu Rab said that the UDF should make its stand clear on the issue. He said it was decided earlier that when Anoop Jacob takes oath, the fifth minister from IUML too would be inducted.
At the same time Kerala Congress Jacob section leader Johny Neloor said the fifth ministerial post and ministerial post of Anoop should not be mixed up.
