Jagathy’s condition satisfactory; experts from Vellore CMC to arrive on Friday


Tuesday, March 27, 2012: Doctors attending to injured Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar said that his condition is satisfactory. A team of expert doctors are expected to arrive here on Friday to check if he is fit to be shifted.
“There is steady improvement in his health though recovery may take some more time. He has started to open his eyes and is responding to call and pain,” said a medical bulletin
Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had contacted authorities of the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Tamil Nadu, one of the largest medical institutions in India, for advanced neurological care for the actor
Sreekumar, who suffered serious multiple injuries when his car hit the road divider at nearby Tenhipalam in Malappuram district, had undergone various surgeries.
