Tiff between CPM, CPI ends

Saturday, March 3, 2012: The tiff between CPM and CPI came to an end. The decision was taken during the talks held between CPM and CPI state leaderships on the basis of Piravom by-poll.
CPM has also decided not to take legal action against CPI leader Binoy Viswam in connection with ‘event management’ remark.
The row began with CPI state secretary CK Chandrappan saying the CPM state conference was run by an event management group, a charge denied by the party.
CPI leader Binoy Viswam had also stated that the CPM state meet was organized by an event management.
