PATHANAMTHITTA: Jose K Mani MP, son of Finance Minister K M Mani will not replace the latter if he resigns in the name of bar scam, said Chief Whip P C George. Senior leader C F Thomas will replace him. George had mentioned this earlier also.
George said when there are eight other MLAs, there is no chance for a MP to take over. The party will not permit Jose K Mani to become the party chairman also and will oppose if there is any move like that. There is a big leadership like me, C F Thomas and P J Joseph to take over the chairmanship in the Kerala Congress. The bar scam has feeble the activists. The leaders are not able to face the activists, he said.
