KOTTAYAM: Finance Minister K M Mani cancelled his trip to Kottayam fearing the protest of left organizations in connection with the bar bribe scam. He usually goes to Kottayam on weekends to attend the programmes held in his constituency. The Kerala Congress decided to cancel his programmes which were scheduled to happen in Kottayam today.
Mani cancelled his trip as the programmes were all unimportant. The Left parties had stated earlier that they would boycott Mani. Political parties including the BJP are also against him.
