Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam 2, the second part of blockbuster Viswaroopam, had almost finished the shoot. But, the actor, it said, is going for a retake of is climax, as he was not satisfied with the one shot earlier.
Artistes such as Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea and Vaheeda Rehman, who were part of the Viswaroopam, will be acting in its sequel, too. Therefore, bringing all these persons back to the sets will be a time-consuming task. Moreover, as producer Ascar V.Ravichandran is busy with solving certain issues related to the release of his another big-budget film ‘I’, the release of Viswaroopam 2 is likely to get postponed to next year.
Kamal had revealed that Viswaroopam 2 would give more weightage to romance and emotions and it will be better off in terms of technicality. “I make films not for publicity but to make people love them,” the veteran actor had said once.
