Police taken aback by Nisam’s call list

THRISSUR: Businessman Nisam, an accused in the murder case in which he had allegedly tried to kill a security staff, was taken to Bangalore by the Thrissur police. Police are checking his contacts in the city, his possible links with drug peddlers and whether any case is pending against him as he allegedly has  criminal tendencies.

The police have got the information that there is a case against him in Goa’s Panjim, as he is said to have entered into a brawl at a hotel during the New year celebration. This information has made the police more suspicious about Nisam. Based on the above information, the police questioned Nisam on Thursday night. 

Meanwhile, the models who were arrested from Nisam’s flat recently have confided to the police that they got the cocaine from Goa. Now, the police officilas are planning to go to Goa as Nisam’s Goa link is confirmed.  

Call list shocks police

In Nisam’s call list, there is an MLA, who has a strong influence on the ruling government. When Nisam’s face started flashing through TV channels, the MLA is said to have reached Thrissur. The police said that the MLA helped Nisam easily free himself from several criminal cases. Even he is said to have influenced the government to offer medical help to the security staff who had a narrow escape from Nisam.
