Liquor sales hits new high during Onam,Karunagappally ranked 1

Monday, September 12, 2011: The liquor sales during this Onam festival season in Kerala have hit record high. The alcohol sales for the past ten days touched a staggering record of Rs 286.63 crore in Kerala.

When compared to previous year, the liquor sales have increased to 25 percent this year. Karunagappally ranked number one for the record liquor sales in Kerala followed by Chalakudy and Ochira.
