Tuesday, September 13, 2011: The security at the Mumbai airport has
been tightened in view of an alert sent by central agencies. Security at
the Chhatrapati Shivaji airport has been put on high alert after an
alert was sent by central agencies of a possible threat from an
aircraft.
Unwilling to take any chance, the Mumbai Police has beefed up the
security at the airport following last week’s bomb blast outside the
Delhi High Court.
All precautionary measures are being taken in view of the threat
perception ahead of the third anniversary of September 13, 2008 blasts
that claimed over 20 lives.
