Thursday, September 01, 2011: State excise Minister K Babu today informed that necessary steps have been taken to check production and supply of illicit liquor during the Onam season. Speaking to the reporters here on Thursday, Minister added that arrangements have been made at the check posts to stop the transport of spirit and illicit liquor.
District level control rooms have been opened and public could inform the authorities about the sale of illicit liquor, Minister told.
