Killer ship identified
KOCHI: The cargo vessel involved in a collision with a fishing boat on Thursday off the Kerala coast, in which two fishermen were killed and three went missing, was reportedly identified on Friday as MV Prabhu Daya, flying Singapore flag and owned by a Mumbai-based company. Sources said there was no confirmation yet.
The vessel was said to be on its way from Goa to China when it collided with Don 1. MV Prabhu Daya was on Friday night blocked off the Tamil Nadu coast and the Directorate General of Shipping ordered it to reach Kochi at the earliest for confirmation.
