Nurses at two hospitals in Kochi to begin strike

Sunday, March 11, 2012: Nurses at two hospitals in Kochi, Lakeshore hospital and Sunrise hospital, have decided to begin strike.
Lakeshore hospital nurses will begin strike tomorrow. The nurses has called the strike alleging that management has violated the promises given to them. The nurses’ association has said that the management is dismissing the trainee nurses from the hospital who had participated in the strike earlier.
Nurses at Sunrise hospital have decided to go for strike demanding better wages. Nurses will hold a token strike tomorrow.
