Decision on Malapparambu school after seeing report: Education minister

KOZHIKODE: Education minister P K Abdurab has said that a decision on the opening of Malapparambu UP school will be taken after he goes through the report of the expert committee.

The government order that the school need not function from the next academic year is still valid. The minister told the media that the school protection council had not approached the government regarding the opening of the school  

The school building was damaged allegedly according to the instructions of manager P K Padmarajan on April 11 morning. Seeing the damage caused to the school building which had functioned as a polling booth the previous day, local residents had sat in protest in front of the school, blocking the road.
