THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister of Cooperation C N Balakrishnan has said that in the backdrop of Thrissur poll failure, no one should ever think of removing him from the minister’s post.
He said if Dhanapalan had contested from Chalakkudy, he would have won the election easily. “He was asked to contest from a different place by the high command and this interference by the party did not work out. Thus, it becomes clear that each and every opinion of the high command need not go down well with the people,” he said.
Former MP K P Dhanapalan had earlier told the media that leaders including Balakrishnan had assured the high command of his victory.
