IRINGALAKKUDA: Actor Innocent who had won from Chalakkudy constituency as LDF’s independent candidate lighted a huge candle measuring his weight at St Raphael Church as an offering.
It was reportedly the completion of a vow taken by his family friend that the candle would be lighted if he wins the election. The actor had arrived at the Church together with his family members. Innocent had defeated his Congress opponent P C Chacko by a margin of over 10,000 votes.
