Baby sent on parasailing: Case against parents

KANNUR: Police have filed a case against two parents, who had sent their 11-month-old baby on parsailing all alone on Wednesday. Edakkadu police have registered case under Juvenile Act.

The incident happened at around 11:30 am at Muzhappilangadu Drive-in beach, when  the child was put through this traumatic experience in the name of adventurous sport.

The victim of this cruel act is Niya Nisamat, the granddaughter of Safar Ahemmad, who had organised the parasailing exhibition under the aegis of Aero Sports Society.

The girl was crying aloud continuously and the parents seemed least least bothered about it. The parachute went sailing up to a height of 300 feet and when it touched down on the ground, the child had become extremelytired. Ironically, the organisers did this cruel experiment without providing helmet or any safety measure to the child.
