CPI’s three-member commission to evaluate poll debacle

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI has appointed a three-member panel to examine the poll defeat of the party in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election. The commission comprises P K Krishnan, K Sivaraman, and V Chamunni.

Earlier the CPI in a post-poll assessment came to the conclusion that numerous Left votes found their way to the BJP candidate. The commission also will find out whether the Thiruvananthapuram constituency was a payment seat.
