PATHANAMTHITTA: Pathtnanmthitta Judicial Magistrate court has issued an arrest warrant against solar scam accused Saritha S Nair on Friday as she did not appear in the court for the second consecutive time in a case related to her breaching bail terms.
“The warrant should be executed before the case comes up for hearing on June 2,” the court said.
Saritha had visited Kollur Mookambika temple in Karnataka, which went against her bail conditions. It was the investigating officer who had moved court against Saritha’s temple visit, submitting that she flouted bail terms.
While considering the case, the court asked whether Saritha was befooling it. It also pointed out that it was for the third time that the case was being postponed.
Meanwhile, Saritha’s advocate Feny Balakrishnan informed the court that she could not appear in the court as she had to attend another case in Chalakkudy. “She can’t attend two courts at the same time,” he said. Following this, the arrest warrant was issued.
