The panel would also recorded statements from 14 persons including MA Baby and MLA-P.C Vishnunath in the next sitting which would be held on September 20th. The committee will be conducting an enquiry on the four allegations against Achuthanandan’s son including his appointment as the director of ICT academy
VD Satheeshan has been appointed as the chairman of the nine-member joint panel. The complaint was lodged by Youth Congress President and MLA, P.C.Vishnunath. Refuting the charges leveled against his son, Opposition leader, VS Achuthanandan suggested for an inquiry by the Assembly panel.
The previous LDF government had appointed Arun Kumar as the ICT academy director prior to the Kerala Assembly elections.
