HC rejects Yeddyurappa’s bail plea in land scam case

Monday, August 29, 2011: Karnataka high court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa in the land denotification scam. He will now have to appear in court compulsorily.
The case is related to a private complaint alleging irregularities in denotification of land acquired by the Bangalore Development Authority, in which Yeddyurappa had been issued summons by the lokayukta court on August 8.
Senior counsel for the petitioner (Yeddyurappa) sought to make Sirajin Basha, the city-based advocate who had filed the complaint against him, a party and filed a memo to this effect.

THis crook along with other political thugs who are in jail at present must clean the toiletes and kitchen of the jail for Rs 20/day labour. They should know how the ordinary Indian live and survive due to the sin of these political criminals and corporate looters.
