Tuesday, August 30, 2011: The police took into custody a man who attempted to commit suicide at the KPCC office in the capital city. The man taken into custody has been identified as Mohandas, native of Aakkulam. The man who reached the KPCC office in the afternoon entered the room of the KPCC chief and doused kerosene on his body. He made the attempt saying that the KPCC Chief is trying to trap him in a case.
