Wednesday, August 03, 2011: The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday has decided to hike the bus fares in the state. With the decision the minimum fare of the ordinary buses will go up to Rs 5.For the fast passenger buses will go up to Rs 7. It also decided not to hike the concessional bus fare of students thus turning down the demand by bus operators.
