Sunday, August 7, 2011: A major fire broke out at Madakkathara Substation on Sunday morning around 5: 30 am. According to preliminary reports, the fire resulted from explosion in a transformer.Fire Force rushed to the spot and ceased the fire. No causalities have been reported.
