Wednesday, September 21, 2011: State Water Resources Minister, PJ Joseph opined that the second phase of the Jalanidhi project would begin this year.
Speaking to the mediapersons here on Wednesday, Minister added that
the final round of discussions with the World Bank delegates have been
completed and the project cost is estimated to be Rs 1000 crore.
The project had been envisaged for 200 grama panchayats which would benefit around 20 lakh families, Minister said.
