Thursday, September 22, 2011: One person was killed and 5 others
injured when a KSRTC bus rammed into a roadside temple at Thampanoor
here on Thursday morning. The dead has been identified as Renjith (23)
hailing from Panayamuttam.
The injured identified as Pramesh, Rajan and Abhijith were rushed to Thiruvananthapuram medical college hospital.
Police informed that the bus going towards Karamana from East Fort lost
control and swerved to its right ramming into the Sree Thampurankavu
Siddhi Vinayaka temple.
Preliminary reports suggest that the bus had lost control due to the break failure.
