44 sovereign jewellery and Rs 2 lakhs were inside Balabhaskar's car, Prakashan Thampi came checking for this

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Crime Branch has clarified that there was 44 sovereign of jewelry and Rs 2 lakhs inside Balabhaskar’s car. Owners of an Ayurveda hospital in Palakkad fixed up offerings for Balabhaskar at Vadakkumnadha Temple, which was a three-day function. The crime branch is in possession of loan documents of the hospital administrators Letha and her husband which shows a loan of Rs 10 lakhs. The investigation team also got details of a complaint filed against the hospital administrators by a Kozhikode native in which Balabhaskar’s name is mentioned. The institution faced financial troubles after Balabhaskar’s demise as he had a partnership in the business, the complaint reads. Cherppulassery Police has taken a case on this complaint.

Balabhaskar’s met with the tragic accident on Septemeber 25, 2018 at Pallippuram. The Highway Patrolling team was the first on the scene. Later Mangalapuram Police checked the car and shifted the items inside it to the station. Prakash Thampi, on the very next day, reached out to the station to check the details of the valuable, introducing himself as the manager. The relatives of Balabhaskar’s wife was with him. At the time, Balabhaskar was in a critical state in the hospital and the death of their child was confirmed.
