Monday, September 26, 2011: The march taken out by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha activists in Kozhikode as a protest against the bad road conditions in the district turned violent today. The activists laid siege to the road blocking vehicles which led to a minor scuffle between the protestors and the police. The activists later pelted stones at the police vehicles. No causalities have been reported in the incident.
