New revelations in ice-cream parlour case

Monday, September 26, 2011: Roselin and Madathil Bindu, two victims of the sensational ice-cream parlour sex scandal case in Kozhikode have come up with new startling revelations.
In a letter send to investigation officers and the Court, the victims allege that they were threatened and were forced to retract their statements against Industries Minister PK Kunhalikutty in connection with the case.
The victims have also sought another chance to record their statements. The letter points out that the victims were threatened soon after Kunhalikutty’s co-brother KA Rauf had come with allegations against the Minister.
According to reports, the Minister’s aid identified as Sherif had threatened the victims to retract their statements. The ice-cream parlour sex scandal occurred during 2005-06. Kunhalikutty was defeated in the Kuttipuram Assembly seat, which was considered to be the safest seat of IUML. Rauf was the close aide of Kunhalikutty then in settling all the issues.
After the elections, the two co-brothers parted ways and Rauf was involved in a 300 acre land case in Maharashtra. He was behind the bars for three months.
