Monday, 02 January 2012: Nurses at the Little Flower Hospital are on strike demanding better facilities. Union leaders said that as many as 70 percent of the nurses are on strike.The nurses’ union had intimated about their strike plan to the hospital authorities earlier itself.
The nurses allege that despite this, 4 persons were given notices by the hospital authorities and hence to protest against this, the nurses decided to strike work.
