KOZHIKODE: CPM Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan, who was recently arrested in connection with Kathiroor Manoj murder case, will be shifted to Sri Chitra hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. But a decision has not been take on the means of transport to be used for shifting the leader.
Jayrajan will be shifted on Tuesday when the city will be witnessing Pongala festival in which lakhs of devotees are expected to partake. He is currently admitted to Kozhikode Medical College.
Jayarajan was shifted to Kozhikode Medical College on February 15. The other day he had criticised the CBI report, saying that it was the one prepared under duress. The report had said Jayarajan didn’t have any serious health issue, but the CPM leaders who visited him said he had several diseases.
He had been detected with kidney stone and the physiotherapy is continuing on him.
